Dr Sara joined the Mira Mar Vets family as a veterinarian in 2022. Sara comes to us from Perth, where she has been working at a busy high-level small animal clinic.  She brings with her lots of experience with complex cases and surgeries.  It must run in the family as her dad, Paul, is also a vet, and her mum, Julia, is an experienced veterinary practice manager!

Originally an Albany girl, Sara completed some of her practical work with us during vet school. She has now returned to her hometown, and we are so happy to have her back.  At home, she is the dedicated ‘slave’ to a number of older cats, each with their own special needs!

In exciting news for us all, at the start of 2023 Sara became the new partner in the Mira Mar Vets business which also added Ellie to the fold in 2025.  We look forward to many more years of continued fine veterinary care of your pets with Jim, Sara and Ellie at the helm and welcome the exciting opportunities that this new ownership will bring.
