It’s been a busy time for our staff at Mira Mar Vets recently!

We are thrilled to congratulate our head nurse, Jess Brennan, on her recent engagement!  We wish Jess and her fiance Zane all the best for the future.

On a much sadder (and more painful) note, Dr Dave Warren had an unfortunate altercation with a cow a few weeks ago, leaving him with a sore, swollen and damaged knee.  It is currently housed in a very large and impressive knee brace, so if you see Dave hobbling around at the clinic, give him your regards.  Get well soon Dave!

On the March long weekend, Dr Jim Darmody and Dr Erin Macdonald competed in the Albany Classic Triathlon as part of the Mira Mar Vet Team!  The team cyclist (Dave) had to be replaced at the last minute due to his knee injury, but the team spirit prevailed and they performed amazingly well!  The team came third in the Mixed Teams division, and Jim went on to complete the whole event and came first in the Male 40-44years division!  Congratulations to the hard working team and a very well done to Jim!
